You hear a lot of people talk about having an Ideal Client Avatar (sometimes called an ICA). It might look something like this:
My ideal client’s name is Mary. She’s a married mother of 2 kids under the age of 5. She drives a Lexus SUV, loves sipping on a Starbucks Frappuccino while shopping the Target Dollar Bin, and looks forward to girls’ night out once a month. She’s tired of being a chauffeur and putting everyone else before herself though, and is ready for a change.
Does that look familiar? Often times these ICAs are pretty long. And it’s a good start in understanding your ideal client.
BUT it’s not enough!
